A legacy of love

Did you know that more than a quarter of our total funding each year comes from legacy gifts? These gifts from wills, trust and other estate plans are the very foundation of our organization. To thank our legacy donors, we have created the Legacy Circle. Through the Legacy Circle, we recognize those thoughtful persons who ensure the future of our organization…and thousands of animals in need.

Legacy Circle members are those who have honored AHS in one or more of the following ways:

• Naming us as a beneficiary in a will or living trust
• Making a gift of cash or appreciated securities to establish a charitable gift annuity
• Creating a charitable remainder trust
• Naming us as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement account

Long live the legacy

We hope you’ll consider adding your name to our Legacy Circle. As a legacy donor, you’ll be listed in an upcoming issue of our Paw Prints newsletter (unless you wish to remain anonymous). Additionally, you’ll be invited to our annual private donor recognition event and you are invited to participate in our Continuing Care program, a way to provide lifetime care for your pet(s) if you predecease them.

To include us in your will or estate plan, you must specify our legal name, street address and federal tax identification number.
