The show features a parade of pets who need new homes, as well as special guest interviews and useful animal-care tips. Pets you see on the show are available for adoption at 3 pm on the same Saturday they are featured at our Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion, 1521 W. Dobbins Road, Phoenix.

pop-450We're celebrating our 50th year with a casting call for your Pets on Parade success stories! Send us your storyand you may be chosen to appear on the show!

If more than one person wants to adopt a specific pet, we will have a drawing to determine the first, second and third prospective adopter (all ticket holders must successfully complete our adoption pre-screening process). We apologize, but we cannot adopt out pets from the show before 3 pm on the day they are featured. Thanks for watching!

CATS (All cats are litter box trained!)
maxine.jpg
Maxine
Our names are Maxine and Simba
simba.jpg
Simba
and we are 2 month-old spayed female kittens. We arrived at the shelter with our littermates and we were too young to go up for adoption so were sent to a foster home to grow up a little more. When not cuddling, we are usually dashing around the house frantically chasing after crinkle toys, jingle balls, or toy mice. We lived with a small poodle in my foster home but are shy around dogs so take it slow around the canines.  We are good with children, but haven't been around big dogs or other cats yet. Adoption Fee $37.50 each, ID #A266007 and #A266004.

Now we are big and strong and very rambunctious! Can we go home together? We are good with cats and children, but haven't been around dogs yet. Adoption Fee $37.50 each, ID #A266005 and #A266008.

jake.jpg
Jake
Our names are Alice (spayed female) and Jake (neutered male) and we are 3 month-old kittens. We were fostered together, even though we didn't come from the same litter! We become very close even though we aren't related, so would love to go home together. We love to play with each other and our favorite game is tag, or chasing toy mice from one end of the house to the other. We are good with cats and children, and ignore dogs. Adoption Fee $37.50 each, ID #A268505 and #A265352.

CRITTERS
abe.jpg
Abe Lincoln

My name is Abe Lincoln and I am a 2 year-old neutered male lion head rabbit. I am a sweet rabbit who loves daily one on one time outside my cage. Please brush me daily to keep my coat nice and neat. This breed of hamster is not suited for small children as they are very fast, can be easily startled and will nip if not handled properly.  High energy and very entertaining, I will needed to be provided with a wheel to run in, chew toys like paper towel rolls and wood blocks as well as high quality hamster food and treats. Provide hamster fluff so he can make a cozy nest to cuddle up in. I haven't been around kids or other pets, so please introduce me slowly. Adoption Fee $10, ID #A270431.

Bell
adoptedOur names are Bell (neutered male) and
lilly.jpg
Lilly
Lilly (spayed female) and we are 3 month-old lilac point kittens. We were surrendered to the shelter because our previous family didn't want to care for a big litter of kittens. Our foster parents say that we are spunky and playful but also have an affectionate side. We are good small dogs and children, but haven't been around big dogs or other cats yet. and Fluffernutter (neutered male) and we are 3 month-old kittens. Our previous family abandoned us at the shelter when we were just tiny kittens. CRITTERS
meeko.jpg
Meeko

My name is Meeko and I'm a 1 year-old neutered male ferret. PLEASE do your research if you have never owned a ferret, we are not your typical pet! I MUST come out of my cage AT LEAST 2 hours EVERY DAY for playtime.  **I am a carnivore and can only digest meat and ferret food! NO FRUITS, VEGGIES, SUGAR, DAIRY PRODUCTS, RAISINS OR CAFFEINE. ** Bathing us causes our oils to kick into overdrive and makes us smell more. Wash our bedding at least once or twice a week and that will cut down on the "weasel" smell. I haven't yet been around dogs or cats, and would do best with older kids, so please introduce me slowly. Adoption Fee $50, ID #A269812.

cheddar.jpg
Cheddar
adoptedMy name is Cheddar and I'm a 6 year-old unaltered male syrian hamster. Cheddar is my name, but I like to be called the "Big Cheese." I will need to be gently handled each day to help me become more comfortable being held. Hamsters are nocturnal animals and I like to explore the tunnels, tubes, and critter huts that are in my cage late at night instead of the day time. I am a busy body during the late night hours and when I am not exploring my cage I like to run as fast as my little legs will move on my exercise wheel. I will need a well ventilated cage that is secure and cleaned at least once a week, plenty of critter equipment to explore,  and nutritious food to keep me healthy. I haven't been around kids or other pets, so please introduce me slowly. Adoption Fee $10, ID #A269975.

Sadly, my previous owners weren't as loyal to me as I was to them and they abandoned me. I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with a faithful friend who will pamper and spoil me. I am an outgoing and social doggie who loves to be surrounded by dog lovers and lavished with attention. I may need a refresher course in training so a patient pal is needed to get me back into the routine. I arrived at the shelter with about a dozen other dogs that lived in the same house as me. I am partially housetrained, nervous with kids, haven't been with cats yet, and would do best as the only dog in the home. Adoption Fee $100, ID #A269316.

sanoe.jpg
Sanoe
adoptedMy name is Sanoe. I'm a 5 year-old spayed female Siberian Husky. Despite being a middle-aged doggie, I am agile, active, and eager to explore the world. I love to play and hope to find a human pal to put my boundless energy to good use. Plenty of exercise, playtime, learning new tricks, and endless amount of attention will keep me out of mischief. Husky's are very active dogs and need plenty of exercise to be happy dogs. Also they have THICK coats and they do not do well in the Arizona heat so her new family will need to keep a close eye on her during play time so she doesn't overheat. I am partially housetrained, bossy with other dogs, chase cats, and would do best with older children. Adoption Fee $35, ID #A269562.

leti.jpg

I am an exceptionally sweet girl ready to give my heart to someone special. I will love my new family unconditionally if they shower me with endless amount of love. I hope that my new human pal will let me snuggle at the foot of the bed each night, take me for long strolls around the park or neighborhood each evening, and keep me looking cute as a button with adorable bows in my fur. I would also appreciate a few stuffed dog toys, and a small tennis ball to play fetch with. After a few hours of playing I like to cuddle up on the couch and watch some television.  I am partially housetrained, playful with dogs, and good with cats and children. Adoption Fee $100, ID #A269752.

hercules.jpg
Hercules

adoptedMy name is Hercules. I'm an 8 month-old neutered male Chihuahua mix. A mighty dog with a strong name! This handsome pocket sized pet is ready to be someone's devoted lap warmer. This mellow lap dog loves to perch himself upon his human companion's lap and watch the world go by. Being a snuggle-bug, this handsome canine will need lots of one on one time with his family and he adores belly rubs, ear scratches, and massages. He may need some additional training so be patient and if you encourage him with treats and praise he is eager to obey. I am not yet housetrained, playful with other dogs, have never been around cats and would do best with older kids. Adoption Fee $100, ID #A269721.

zeus.jpg
Zeus

adoptedMy name is Zeus. I'm a 3 year-old neutered male German Shepherd. I am a regal, stately and loyal canine if you show me compassion. With my strong, handsome build, I am incredibly athletic and hope to find a forever human pal who lives an active lifestyle. I will need daily exercise and plenty of play time in a spacious grassy yard. German Shepherds have the mind of a genius and being clever canines we learn new tricks and commands in minutes. I may need some additional training and I am sure to be the "teachers pet" in basic obedience classes. An experienced dog owner would be the best match for me so they can provide firm leadership, encouraging training methods, plenty of exercise and attention and make me a member of the family. I am partially housetrained, nervous with other dogs, good with older children and haven't been around cats. Adoption Fee $100, ID #A269774.

frankie.jpg
Frankie
My name is Ms. Frankie. I'm a 3 year-old spayed female Pug / Beagle mix. I'll greet you when you come home. I love attention and would like a home with a big back yard to run and play in. I love to ride along when you go biking. I may need to be fed saperately from other pets and children, and will need to be monitored with toys and treats. With time and patience I will be  a wonderful companion. I am partially housetrained, might be good with dogs, have never been around cats and best with older children. Adoption Fee $100, ID #A269888.

SPECIAL PET ON PARADE
allie.jpg
Allie
adoptedMy name is Allie. I'm a 5 year-old spayed female Labrador Retriever mix. I may be a middle-aged doggie but I haven't shown any signs of slowing down and am bursting with energy. I am a puppy at heart and I love to romp, play, and exercise. I hope to find an active human buddy who will make me their constant companion. I enjoy tagging along when you go on road trips, camping, hiking, swimming, or family barbeques. I am a happy-go-lucky doggie who doesn't like to be left alone for too long and I hate being left in the yard while my family is inside. I prefer to be included in all the family fun. If I don't receive enough exercise, attention and training I tend to take matters into my own paws and I will go for exploratory escapades around the neighborhood by leaping effortlessly over the fence. Daily exercise and fun activities to burn some of my energy will keep me happy and content. I'm already microchipped, good with dogs and kids, but haven't been around cats yet. Adoption Fee $35, ID #A268994.
